Too Good To Go is a mission-driven company fighting food waste globally. We're seeking a Data Engineer for our Data & Reco team to work on our B2B platform, the Too Good To Go Platform. This role involves building and maintaining data pipelines to fuel our products and operations with high-quality data from various sources.
As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining our data infrastructure
- Proposing ideas for long-term product improvement
- Maintaining stack security
- Problem-solving and owning projects
- Simplifying complex tasks
- Providing feedback
Our tech stack includes Airflow (Python), DBT Core (SQL), Snowflake, and Metaflow. The ideal candidate should have excellent SQL skills, with experience in DBT & Airflow being a plus. Retail experience is an ideal bonus.

Responsibilities For Data Engineer
- Build and maintain data infrastructure
- Propose ideas for long-term product improvement
- Maintain stack security (CVE, dependencies upgrades)
- Act as a problem-solver and owner
- Simplify complex tasks
- Provide feedback
- Build pipelines to ingest retailers' and app data
- Fuel the app with cleaned data
- Expose aggregated data for Machine Learning Engineers
- Build KPIs
- Provide reliable data for ops teams' deep analysis
Requirements For Data Engineer
- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Experience with DBT & Airflow (preferred)
- Experience in Retail (ideal bonus)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to simplify complex tasks
