QA Engineer (India)

TRADER Corporation, a trusted Canadian leader in online media, dealer and lender services, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. The role involves ensuring the quality and functionality of software products, working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and track defects. The QA Engineer will be responsible for test planning & design, test execution, documentation, collaboration with team members, and overall quality assurance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing requirements and developing comprehensive test plans and cases
• Performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Executing manual and automated tests
• Reporting and tracking defects, working with the development team to resolve issues
• Documenting test results and maintaining accurate documentation
• Collaborating with developers and business analysts
• Participating in Agile ceremonies
• Ensuring software applications meet quality standards

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Experience with JIRA, GitHub, and Test Management tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, XML, and MS Excel
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and Selenium
• ISTQB Certification is a plus
