TradingHub, a finance-focused big data firm founded in 2010, is seeking an experienced Quantitative Developer to join their team. With offices in London, Toronto, New York, and Singapore, TradingHub has grown to over 140 employees, specializing in creating best-in-class surveillance tooling and analytics for financial markets.

As a Quantitative Developer in the Analytics & Data division, you'll play a crucial role in designing, building, and validating models that power TradingHub's industry-leading market surveillance and analytics products. You'll collaborate with engineers and quants to create and deploy financial pricing libraries, calculators, and risk algorithms.

The ideal candidate will combine excellent mathematical skills with proven software engineering abilities. Your responsibilities will include developing sophisticated pattern-detection algorithms, creating financial pricing libraries and risk-related algorithms, researching market dynamics across multiple asset classes, and implementing core algorithms for deep financial data analysis.

Key requirements include proficiency in C#, C++, or Python, experience with database technologies, exceptional mathematical and analytical skills, and industry experience as a quant in a pricing/risk function. You should have a strong understanding of derivatives and asset classes like fixed-income or commodities.

Responsibilities For Quantitative Developer

  • Develop sophisticated pattern-detection algorithms for TradingHub's product offerings
  • Develop financial pricing libraries, calculators, and risk/pricing-related algorithms
  • Research and develop broad models of market dynamics across multiple asset classes
  • Prototype, test, and validate TradingHub's proprietary mathematical/statistical models
  • Use in-house big data language for large-scale pricing and analysis of security and risk data
  • Implement and optimize core algorithms for deep analysis of financial data

Requirements For Quantitative Developer

Python
  • Proficiency with C#, C++ or Python
  • Experience working with database technologies such as SQL, MySQL, Postgres etc.
  • Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills
  • Industry experience working as a quant within a pricing/risk function
  • Understanding of derivatives and ability to translate cash flows into risk
  • Good knowledge of fixed-income or commodities asset classes
  • Confidence to experiment with new ideas and technologies
