Software Engineer

TradingHub, founded in 2010, has grown to a team of over 140 across London, Toronto, New York and Singapore. They are seeking a Software Engineer to develop sophisticated tooling used for model development and validation. The role involves collaborating with engineers and quants to ensure high-quality and accurate models.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing sophisticated tools for model development & validation
• Maintaining and improving QA & testing frameworks
• Using in-house big data language for large-scale analysis
• Deploying and optimizing production models
• Providing front-line support for complex model & data related production issues

The ideal candidate should have:

• Proficiency in C# or other OOP languages like Java or C++
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, MySQL, Postgres)
• Experience developing tooling and processes to monitor and automate workflows
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of or keen interest in financial markets
• Confidence to experiment with new ideas and technologies
