Traeger, the inventor of the wood pellet grill, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join their growing tech team in Salt Lake City. As a disruptive force in outdoor cooking, Traeger offers an exciting opportunity for a team player dedicated to delivering top-quality results.
The role involves implementing new features to enhance user experience and site functionality for Traeger.com. You'll work with designs to build and maintain components, collaborate on feature definition and design, and ensure performance and quality. Key responsibilities include refactoring old components to use Tailwind and TypeScript, adding unit tests, and integrating third-party services and APIs.
Ideal candidates should have programming experience in JavaScript, understanding of web fundamentals (HTML & CSS), and at least 1 year of React experience. Additional valuable skills include experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Node.js, CMS platforms, TypeScript, e-commerce development, Next.js, React Testing Library, Jest, and Tailwind CSS.

Responsibilities For Full Stack Developer
- Build new features for Traeger.com and help maintain and update component library
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Refactor and update old components to utilize Tailwind and TypeScript and add unit tests
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and correct UI/UX issues and application bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Requirements For Full Stack Developer
- Programming experience in JavaScript
- Understanding of web fundamentals including HTML & CSS
- Minimum 1 year of React experience
- Ability to write clean, functional, and reusable code for both front-end and back-end
