Description For PHP Developer

TransferMate, a subsidiary of CluneTech, is a global payments provider established in 2010. With a network covering 200+ countries and territories, TransferMate has partnerships with major banks, fintechs, and software providers worldwide. The PHP Developer role is a new position created due to continued expansion. The successful candidate will join the remote team in the Philippines. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Creating and implementing web-based products using PHP OOP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.
  2. Managing backend and user-friendly navigation of all company websites.
  3. Following data security procedures.
  4. Identifying problems and suggesting improvements.
  5. Actively participating in technical discussions and code reviews.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Previous PHP experience
  • Experience with web technologies including design patterns, PHP OOP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL
  • Good understanding of OOP fundamentals, SOLID Principles, Data Structures, and Algorithms
  • Strong web security knowledge
  • Knowledge of RESTful services and common design patterns
  • Good understanding of Relational or non-Relational Databases
  • Proficiency in Unit Testing
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
