Trilogy Federal is seeking a DevOps Engineer/Security Specialist to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role combines DevOps engineering and cybersecurity expertise, focusing on implementing secure, scalable cloud-based solutions and modernizing VA corporate IT systems. The position requires certification in AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or CISSP. Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer/Security Specialist
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Engineer cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure platforms
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk mitigation activities
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Cloud Engineers, and Release Managers
- Harden cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines against threats
- Support the migration of VA applications to cloud platforms
- Document DevOps workflows and security configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps and security-related issues
- Integrate emerging technologies into DevOps processes
- Work with VA stakeholders to address security requirements
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
Requirements For DevOps Engineer/Security Specialist
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- One of the following certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or CISSP
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline development, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Familiarity with VA security standards
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
