Senior Developer - ServiceNow

Trilogy Federal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Developer to join our team. As a Senior Developer, extensive experience is required in web-based and client-server application development, process automation, and integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software, specifically ServiceNow. This role requires expertise in relational database management systems (RDBMS) and structured query language (SQL), with a focus on developing, modifying, and maintaining applications and scripts that enhance operational efficiency and meet user needs. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience in systems development methodologies, and a proven track record of working on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software using agile methodologies such as SAFe
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design, and implement features
• Develop and modify web-based applications, client-server applications, and OS scripts for process automation
• Utilize RDBMS and SQL to design and implement solutions
• Integrate COTS software with existing architecture
• Conduct thorough program and production problem analysis
• Apply Systems Development Methodology (SDM) for designing, building, and enhancing applications
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to define system requirements
• Work on multiple project requests simultaneously
• Research emerging technologies and provide recommendations for system enhancements
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Perform unit and integration testing and develop automated test cases

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in programming applications and developing custom solutions
• Working experience with ServiceNow
• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) & ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Experience implementing and integrating COTS software
• Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL
• Strong understanding of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
