Responsibilities For Electrical Systems Engineer

  • Responsible for electrical systems engineering aspects including concept development, mission architecture design, and analysis
  • Conduct trade studies, CONOPS definition, requirements decomposition and allocation
  • Define interface requirements, verification and validation
  • Support integration and test operations, and resolve anomalies
  • Plan, design, develop and verify lifecycle balanced solutions for spacecraft systems
  • Coordinate with spacecraft engineering teams
  • Develop requirements management processes and tools
  • Participate in software integration and test activities
  • Perform radiation and reliability analyses
  • Develop failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for critical electrical systems
  • Resolve cross-functional technical issues

Requirements For Electrical Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, physical sciences, or computer science
  • Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant aerospace industry experience
  • Advanced knowledge of spacecraft electrical systems
  • Excellent leadership and communications skills
  • Experience with systems engineering principles and techniques
  • Experience with power and other system budgets
  • Experience with requirements analysis and flow-down
  • Experience with design verification and validation processes
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required authorizations
  • Ability to lift or carry items up to 20lbs
