The position offers competitive compensation including a base salary range of $135,000-$155,000, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities For Electrical Systems Engineer
- Responsible for electrical systems engineering aspects including concept development, mission architecture design, and analysis
- Conduct trade studies, CONOPS definition, requirements decomposition and allocation
- Define interface requirements, verification and validation
- Support integration and test operations, and resolve anomalies
- Plan, design, develop and verify lifecycle balanced solutions for spacecraft systems
- Coordinate with spacecraft engineering teams
- Develop requirements management processes and tools
- Participate in software integration and test activities
- Perform radiation and reliability analyses
- Develop failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for critical electrical systems
- Resolve cross-functional technical issues
Requirements For Electrical Systems Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering, physical sciences, or computer science
- Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant aerospace industry experience
- Advanced knowledge of spacecraft electrical systems
- Excellent leadership and communications skills
- Experience with systems engineering principles and techniques
- Experience with power and other system budgets
- Experience with requirements analysis and flow-down
- Experience with design verification and validation processes
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required authorizations
- Ability to lift or carry items up to 20lbs
