Embedded Software Engineer

True Anomaly is seeking talented individuals to join their Embedded Flight Software team. As part of this team, you will work on real-time, performance-critical software for spacecraft systems, covering development from early concepts through final deployment. This role offers hands-on experience in developing and optimizing embedded and flight software, accelerating key functions on space hardware, and meeting stringent real-time performance needs. Responsibilities include developing and testing real-time embedded software for spacecraft systems, performing requirements review and verification analysis, assisting with system integration and testing, optimizing software for specialized hardware, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, experience with real-time or embedded systems, proficiency in C or C++ and Rust, familiarity with FPGA fundamentals, and knowledge of various protocols and hardware subsystems. The ideal candidate should have a passion for the space industry and excellent communication skills.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary range and benefits such as health insurance, 401K, and parental leave. The position requires the ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance and is initially remote with some travel required.
