Responsibilities For GNC Systems Engineer

  • Design, develop, and validate GNC algorithms and systems for spacecraft in LEO, GEO, and Cislunar environments
  • Design & analysis of spacecraft attitude determination & control systems
  • Conduct trade studies for ADCS components selection
  • Utilize and improve high fidelity simulations for performance prediction
  • Develop ADCS Flight Software algorithms in C++
  • Perform first principles derived analyses
  • Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines
  • Own all aspects of ADCS system development

Requirements For GNC Systems Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent discipline
  • 6+ years experience developing GNC systems for space applications
  • Experienced with Matlab, Simulink, and C++
  • Extensive understanding of spacecraft GNC architecture
  • Strong understanding of physics, attitude dynamics, orbital mechanics
  • Experience with control structure interaction and orbital maneuvering
  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required authorizations
