Responsibilities For Propulsion Systems Engineer

  • Lead the end-to-end design, analysis, and development of propulsion systems for advanced satellites
  • Oversee the integration, testing, and qualification of propulsion systems
  • Develop and implement novel propulsion technologies and architectures
  • Conduct performance analysis and simulations of the propulsion system
  • Drive system-level trade studies to select optimal propulsion technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams for seamless integration of propulsion subsystems

Requirements For Propulsion Systems Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in spacecraft propulsion systems
  • Expertise in propulsion system modeling and analysis tools
  • Ability to lead complex engineering projects
  • Must be eligible to obtain required U.S. Government authorizations
  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS/SCI clearance
