Responsibilities For RF Electrical Engineer

  • Lead the rapid design, development, and testing of high-reliability RF and communications systems for spacecraft
  • Drive requirements capture, component selection, analysis, bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test for electrical designs
  • Perform system-level integration of RF and electrical subsystems
  • Oversee the selection and integration of RF components
  • Support hardware through production, integration, and launch
  • Define validation approach and create development and qualification testing campaigns
  • Develop and maintain documentation for electrical systems
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Continuously improve electrical engineering processes and practices

Requirements For RF Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5-7+ years of experience in RF system design for aerospace applications
  • Experience with spacecraft communication systems
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment
  • Advanced experience in Altium Designer or RF simulation software
  • Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required authorizations due to ITAR regulations
