We're seeking a highly-experienced senior software engineer to lead the development of our distributed spacecraft ground control system. This role offers the chance to work on challenging, greenfield problems that will fundamentally impact future conflict and the company's future. You'll design and develop complex software systems for mission planning in space battle management, using Elixir for real-time data processing and visualization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including aerospace engineers and game designers, is key to integrating autonomous decision-making algorithms into wargaming simulations. While space experience isn't required, you'll need a strong engineering background, 5-7 years of software development experience, and expertise in distributed systems.
