The role focuses on developing sophisticated wargaming capabilities to evaluate system performance and architecture in realistic operational scenarios. You'll be working with advanced astrodynamics and system modeling, creating Python-based models for various space systems including finite maneuvers, RPO, launch trajectories, and onboard sensors & payloads.
As part of our team, you'll contribute to True Anomaly's space systems wargame capability, integrate Python-based models into existing physics simulations, and provide guidance to software engineers working with C++ implementations. The position offers an opportunity to work on challenging, open-ended questions related to space systems design and operations.
We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $125,000 - $190,000, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The role is based near Colorado Springs, Denver, or LA, and requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency due to ITAR regulations.
