True Anomaly is at the forefront of space security and sustainability, developing cutting-edge technology that combines spacecraft, software, and AI capabilities. We're seeking a Staff Spacecraft Systems Engineer to lead complex space systems development throughout the entire mission lifecycle.

The role offers an opportunity to work on innovative space technology that directly contributes to global security and space sustainability. You'll lead system engineering aspects from initial concept development through on-orbit operations, managing critical system budgets and coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll be responsible for establishing and improving systems engineering processes, leading requirements management, and ensuring the quality of operational products. The position requires expertise in spacecraft systems engineering principles, requirements analysis, and system budget development.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of aerospace industry experience and strong technical leadership capabilities. You'll work in a hybrid environment near Denver, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver ambitious results.

Responsibilities For Staff Spacecraft Systems Engineer

  • Lead spacecraft systems engineering throughout full mission lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain critical system budgets (power, mass, link margins, pointing, thermal)
  • Lead requirements management processes and tools implementation
  • Participate in software integration and test activities
  • Establish and improve systems engineering processes
  • Analyze technical data and verify system configurations
  • Ensure quality and integrity of operational products

Requirements For Staff Spacecraft Systems Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Software or related engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of directly relevant aerospace industry experience
  • Expertise in spacecraft systems engineering principles and techniques
  • Strong understanding of spacecraft subsystem functions and interfaces
  • Experience with verification and validation processes
  • Excellence in leadership and technical communication
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required authorizations
