ML Engineer

Truecaller, a global leader in caller ID and spam-blocking services, is seeking an ML Engineer to join their Insights Team in Bangalore. The role focuses on SMS Categorization, Fraud detection, and Smart SMS features, working with cutting-edge technologies including LLMs. You'll be part of a team that handles OTP & bank notifications, bill & travel reminder alerts, using a patented offline text parser. The Smart SMS feature currently serves over 90M users daily.

As an ML Engineer, you'll be instrumental in advancing natural language processing capabilities, working with large language models, and implementing in-device models across diverse regions. The position requires strong expertise in machine learning engineering, with particular emphasis on NLP, model deployment, and production environment management.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of ML engineering experience, strong proficiency in Python, and expertise with modern ML frameworks.
