Web Engineer

Truecaller, a leading communication app with over 400 million active users, is seeking a Web Engineer to join their Ads Product team in Bangalore, India. As a Web Engineer, you'll be integral to the full cycle of product development on the web, creating solutions that reach hundreds of millions of users daily.

The role requires 2-5 years of experience, with a focus on modern JavaScript development and frameworks like Vue, Angular, or React. You'll be responsible for building scalable products with excellent user experience, handling high-load APIs, and ensuring your code runs flawlessly across a vast number of devices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning at least one web application
• Building scalable products with good UX
• Contributing ideas for better user experience
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong CS fundamentals
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of application state handling (e.g., Vuex, Pinia)
• Familiarity with build tools and bundlers like webpack
• Experience with testing tools and modern front-end build pipelines
