This role is part of the Tech and IT Operations - America – Engineering - Americas department and offers a remote work opportunity. As an Associate QA Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality standards of Trustly's products. Your duties will include creating test plans, developing automated test cases, and working closely with development and product teams. The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience with automation and API testing, and strong skills in Java, JavaScript, and SQL. Responsibilities For Associate QA Engineer (Affirmative for Women)
- Create and elaborate test plans to validate features and bug fixes
- Create and develop automated test cases for both backend and frontend teams
- Identify opportunities to elaborate/suggest/create test cases for automation
- Research and suggest new ways to improve quality and tools for testing
- Active role during sprint planning and scrum meetings within the squads
- Work closely with the development team and Product to improve the existing product
- Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production
Requirements For Associate QA Engineer (Affirmative for Women)
- Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Experience with automation, knowledge in API testing, and database
- Relevant work experience in the QA area
- Experience in large software systems in Java, JavaScript or .Net
- Adept at Agile development process
- Familiarity with JUnit, Selenium or other test frameworks
- Experience in SQL
- Knowledge of Gitflow processes
- Experience in business, training and processes documentation
- Ability to communicate in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
