Description For Java Back-End Engineer (Affirmative for Women)

Trustly, a leader in Open Banking Payments, is seeking a Java Back-End Engineer to join their Americas team. This role is part of the product engineering team, responsible for maintaining and growing Trustly's platform. The ideal candidate will develop software processing large volumes of data, ensure safe and simple consumer payments, provide reliable and scalable services for merchants, create tools for company decision-making, and help maintain platform stability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing high-volume data processing software
  • Ensuring secure and simple consumer payments
  • Providing reliable and scalable services for merchants
  • Creating decision-making tools and solutions
  • Maintaining platform stability for zero downtime

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented languages, especially Java
  • Strong software engineering concepts
  • Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Solution-focused mindset with a sense of ownership
  • Ability to work with remote and international teams
  • Clear and objective communication skills
  • Comfortable participating in English meetings (fluency not required)

Requirements For Java Back-End Engineer (Affirmative for Women)

Java
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented languages, mainly Java
