Description For Principal Solutions Engineer - Healthcare & Life Sciences

Join Twilio as a Principal Solutions Engineer on the Strategic Communications team! This role is critical for delivering technical wins and product fit to strategic customers. You'll lead technical pre-sales relationships, drive discovery, propose architectures, demonstrate products, and offer creative solutions. As a trusted advisor, you'll engage with CEOs and engineers alike, solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with Account Executives for pre-sales activities
  • Leading technical and product sales
  • Building and presenting complex product demonstrations
  • Mentoring less experienced Solutions Engineers
  • Contributing to the broader Twilio Solutions Engineering community

Required qualifications:

  • 8+ years pre-sales experience or 10+ years supporting technical products
  • Experience in Healthcare Life Sciences vertical
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Software development experience (Backend, Web development, REST APIs)
  • Experience in Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Security
  • Bachelor's or Master's in a technical discipline
