Senior Solutions Engineer

Join Twilio as a Senior Solutions Engineer - Segment. In this role, you'll partner with Account Executives to execute pre-sales activities, become an expert on Segment's products and partner ecosystem, lead technical evaluations, develop expertise on Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and act as a trusted advisor to customers. You'll work with industry-leading companies to solve their toughest problems related to customer data strategy and architecture.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing pre-sales activities such as opportunity qualification, discovery, demonstrations, and RFP responses
• Designing and presenting innovative solutions that unlock business-level gains
• Consulting with customers on their customer data strategy and architecture design
• Building a perspective on customer and market trends

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of success in a solutions engineering (presales) role
• 6+ years of progressive professional experience supporting technical products
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to explain them
• Experience with Data Engineering, Cloud Data Warehouses, Data Modeling, and APIs
• Experience with marketing technology

Desired qualifications:

• Experience with customer data platforms
• Experience building websites/mobile apps or working with ETL/data pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with Data Analytics, Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning
