Salesforce Development Engineer (SFDC)

Twist Bioscience is seeking an experienced Backend developer with a background in web development and cloud computing for the role of Salesforce Development Engineer (SFDC). The ideal candidate should be able to learn fast, work independently, and be a creative out-of-the-box thinker.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing technical solutions using industry best practices
• Developing product vision for custom CPQ implementation on force.com
• Ensuring non-functional needs such as quality, scalability, and performance
• Performing gap analysis and developing prototypes for new product capabilities
• Guiding team members in technical architecture and solution designs
• Developing Lightning Web components for better user experiences
• Designing and developing integrations between Salesforce.com and third-party applications
• Configuring new functionality in the Salesforce platform

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or similar technical field
• 3+ years experience in Salesforce development
• Certification in Salesforce Platform Developer I
• Experience with Lightning web components, Apex classes, triggers, and SOQL/SOSL
• Expert knowledge of Salesforce design, development & data structures
• Experience with BitBucket or GitHub and agile software like JIRA
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects

The base cash compensation for this California-based role is targeted at $156,000-$173,056 + bonus + equity + benefits. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location.
