Twitch, the world's leading live streaming platform, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their People & Places organization. This role is crucial in building and managing core data pipelines and analytics tooling that power critical HR reporting functionality. The position requires handling sensitive employee data with utmost care and discretion while developing systems that HR relies on for important decision-making.

As a Data Engineer, you'll work closely with an Analyst and Program Manager to design, implement, and optimize robust data infrastructure supporting talent management and workforce analytics initiatives. The role offers the flexibility to work from multiple locations including San Francisco, Seattle, Irvine, or New York City.

The position combines technical expertise in data engineering with business acumen, requiring proficiency in Python, AWS services, and data warehousing principles. You'll be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, ensuring data security and reliability, and implementing quality checks to maintain data accuracy.
