Two Circles is a leading Sports & Entertainment Marketing business seeking a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join their London office. With a client portfolio including the English Premier League, Red Bull, UEFA, VISA, NFL, Nike, and Amazon, we're looking for an experienced technical leader with 5+ years of experience to drive our technology proposition forward.
The role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, focusing on designing and implementing digital solutions for global sports properties. You'll be instrumental in shaping our engineering culture, mentoring team members, and working directly with high-profile clients to deliver innovative solutions.
As a Lead Full Stack Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating architectural diagrams, setting up development frameworks, and ensuring technical excellence across our projects. The position requires strong experience with the Microsoft technology stack, cloud platforms, and modern architecture patterns. You'll work in a hybrid setting, with 2 days per week in our London office and occasional travel to client sites in EMEA.

Responsibilities For Lead Full Stack Engineer
- Work closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads and Product Managers to define technical scope
- Active participation in hiring Software Engineers and process improvement
- Creation of architectural diagrams and technical specifications for multi-platform products
- Technical leadership and mentoring of development teams
- Setting up software development frameworks for release management and automation
- Collaboration with product leads, consultants, designers and developers
- Technical authoring and supporting business development opportunities
- Keeping up to date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology
Requirements For Lead Full Stack Engineer
- Strong experience with Microsoft technology stack (dotnet, Azure, C#, MSSQL)
- Proficiency in full-stack development including backend, frontend, infrastructure, and security
- Experience in service-oriented and API-centric architectures
- DevOps experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Azure App Insights, Datadog
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Experience with CMS, CRM, VMS, data warehouse & middleware systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Experience in providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Interest in sports or sports business
