We're seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our expanding software engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical design and implementation of digital products for major sports clients. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as you'll be instrumental in establishing engineering practices and culture in a growing team.
As a Senior Android Developer, you'll be at the forefront of delivering sophisticated mobile solutions, working with cutting-edge technologies like Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Responsibilities For Senior Android Developer
- Work closely with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope
- Build and deliver end-to-end solutions while establishing best practices in coding standards
- Lead and influence software architecture design both in-house and with clients
- Participate in hiring other Software Engineers and improve the process
- Advocate for developer experience and continuous improvement
- Be present in office 2 days a week
Requirements For Senior Android Developer
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Android development
- High level of proficiency in Kotlin
- Strong architectural knowledge (SOLID principles, clean architecture)
- Experience with UI/UX development using Jetpack Compose
- Experience in CI/CD environment (Bitrise, Circle CI, GitHub actions, Azure DevOps)
- Experience in agile development practices and test automation
- Experience with monitoring tools (Firebase, Sentry, Mix Panel, Google Analytics)
- Knowledge of KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile) preferred
- Computer Science degree or equivalent preferred
- Interest in sport and sports business preferred
