Description For Infrastructure/MLOps Engineer

Two is revolutionizing B2B commerce by developing software that streamlines merchant payments and purchasing processes. As an Infrastructure/MLOps Engineer, you'll join a dynamic team focused on building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure using cutting-edge technologies. Working with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and various other modern tools, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable solutions that power Two's innovative payment platform. The role offers a perfect blend of infrastructure management and MLOps, allowing you to work on everything from container orchestration to supporting machine learning deployments. Based in either Oslo or Glasgow with a hybrid working model, you'll be part of a collaborative environment that values autonomous work while providing strong team support. The position includes hands-on experience with security implementations, database management, and CI/CD pipelines, making it an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about modern infrastructure and MLOps practices. Responsibilities For Infrastructure/MLOps Engineer

  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Implement and maintain Kubernetes (GKE) clusters using Docker and Helm
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Manage containerized applications with Docker
  • Administer and optimize PostgreSQL databases
  • Implement robust security measures
  • Configure and maintain NGINX for load balancing and reverse proxying
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with Data and Machine Learning teams on MLOps infrastructure

Requirements For Infrastructure/MLOps Engineer

  • Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments
  • Strong database management experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience configuring and managing NGINX
  • Strong understanding of network security and authentication mechanisms
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
  • Experience with GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Python scripting skills (preferred)
  • Familiarity with MLOps infrastructure (preferred)
