Description For Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation)

We are seeking experienced Quality Assurance engineers to drive up the quality of our Products in Scrum teams. The role involves working closely with the project team, participating in Agile activities, creating testing artifacts, performing various testing activities, communicating status and risks, and creating and maintaining automation test scripts. Opportunities to learn and practice Automation Testing, Performance Testing, and various types of testing (Mobile, Web, API, Serverless, Micro-service) are available. The ideal candidate will have up to 4 years of experience in QA/Testing, preferably in Finance/Banking, with expertise in web and mobile application testing, API testing, and database queries. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with Agile methodologies are essential. Responsibilities For Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation)

  • Work closely with everyone on the project team
  • Be involved in Agile activities such as iteration planning, requirements analysis, deployment process
  • Support to drive up Quality of products, assure the quality of releases to Production
  • Create appropriate testing artifacts (such as test strategy, test plan, test case, etc.)
  • Carry out all other testing activities such as Functional testing, Smoke test, Regression testing and Exploratory testing
  • Communicate status, risks, and issues to management and team members
  • Create, maintain, execute automation test script in Test framework
  • Learn and practice Automation Testing, Performance Testing

Requirements For Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation)

Java
Python
  • Up to 4 years of experience in QA / Testing, preferably in Finance / Banking
  • Experiences in software testing for Web Applications and mobile Applications (iOS and Android)
  • Experiences in API testing (Restful API, SOAP API... with Postman, SOAPUI...)
  • Friendly with Database queries, experience with SQL, and NoSQL
  • Familiar with Issue/ Test management tools: Jira, Confluence, Xray, Test Rails…
  • Understand fundamental concepts of software testing
  • Good communication and well collaboration with members of the Agile team
  • Competence in requirements analysis and testing
  • Experience in technical problem solving; root cause analysis
  • Able to communicate English well (write, read, speak, and listen)
  • Experiences in Behavior-Driven-Development methodology
  • Knowledge/familiarity with object-oriented and programming languages (Java, Python)
  • Knowledges / Experiences in Selenium WebDriver, Appium or Rest Assured
  • Experience with Version Control (GIT) and CI/CD (Teamcity / Jenkin)
