Description For Engineering Manager II, Container Platform

Uber is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team within the Container Platform Infrastructure group. This role offers a significant impact on the evolution of Uber's backend teams and architecture. The Container Platform team's mission is to build the next generation of Uber's container orchestration platform that is secure, reliable, scalable, and highly efficient.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, and robust products and platforms, including 5+ years managing engineering teams of 10+ people. They should have proficiency in Operating Systems, Linux, Virtualization, Containerization (Docker/containerd), and Cluster Management (Kubernetes, Mesos) technologies.
