Engineering Manager - Machine Learning

Uber is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Marketplace Investments Modeling team. This role involves managing a high-performing team crucial in developing and optimizing budget and price level setting for Rides and EATS. The position is part of the Marketplace (PIMS) organization, central to Uber's core technology, including pricing, incentives, matching, and surge for both mobility and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
• Experience leading teams to build scalable mission-critical systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Expertise in career development, mentorship, and conflict resolution.

This role offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $218,000 - $242,000 per year for both San Francisco and Sunnyvale locations, along with bonus eligibility, potential equity awards, and comprehensive benefits.
