Uber is seeking a Program Manager, Tech for their GSS Risk Operations team. This role combines technical expertise with strategic program management to address emerging risks and operational challenges. The position focuses on leading high-impact programs and collaborating across teams to implement tech-enabled solutions for risk management.

The role involves investigating fraud and abuse cases, working closely with Engineering and Product teams to enhance risk detection mechanisms. The ideal candidate will bring a tech-forward mindset to tackle complex challenges, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive projects within budget and timeline constraints.

Key responsibilities include providing insights for Risk Operations improvement, defining program scope and KPIs, coordinating cross-functional data annotation needs, and ensuring effective risk management. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience in risk program management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Risk program management, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. They should be comfortable working in a hybrid environment, spending at least half their time in the office, and be passionate about building solutions that protect Uber's platform while enhancing user trust.

Requirements For Program Manager I, Tech
