Sr Security Engineer

Uber is seeking a Sr Security Engineer to join their Security Response and Investigations (SRI) team. This role is crucial in responding to security incidents, conducting investigations, and developing automation solutions to enhance Uber's cybersecurity strategy. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in security or software engineering
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Python, or Go
• Strong foundation in security principles and cybersecurity knowledge
• Familiarity with threat actor attack patterns and TTPs
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications include a Master's or PhD degree, experience with cybersecurity forensics, leading large-scale threat hunts, and working on crisis events for a global company. The role offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $194,000 - $215,500 per year, along with bonus eligibility, potential equity awards, and comprehensive benefits.
