Sr Software Engineer, Fullstack

We are seeking skilled and motivated engineers to join our FinTech Hyderabad team to build core components. This team played a crucial role in supporting Uber's IPO and continues to ensure financial compliance. As a Sr Software Engineer, Fullstack, you will be part of the Unicorn team, responsible for developing a platform for Uber's community operations team. This platform will enable automated and efficient spend management, invoicing, accruals, and reconciliation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain complex user interfaces and features for web applications.
• Building scalable, robust, and modular web services.
• Participating in on-call duties and incident management to ensure service SLAs are met.
• Mentoring junior engineers and guiding them in their development.
• Contributing to web innovations as part of Uber's web guild.

To excel in this role, you should have:

• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer developing web applications.
• Strong coding skills with a focus on clean, elegant, bug-free code.
• Expertise in web technologies including HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, React, and various web interaction methods.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, and JavaScript engines.
• Experience in architecting efficient and reusable front-end systems for complex web applications.
• The ability to work both deeply and broadly across Uber's extensive tech stack.
• A proactive approach to addressing operational and scalability challenges.
• Strong ownership mentality and passion for quality, performance, and robustness.
