Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:

• Drive the development of the HireVue Partnerships and Workflow Automation Product Line
• Write maintainable and easy-to-understand code
• Review code and mentor peers
• Collaborate on and/or own the design of new initiatives
• Resolve complex problems in systems
• Broadcast knowledge and lessons learned
• Apply a risk-based approach to technical choices
• Ensure thorough automated testing
• Communicate patterns and solutions through documentation and presentations

Required skills:

• Advanced/fluent English skills
• Experience with SaaS products in a cloud-based environment
• Strong knowledge of AWS, C# .NET, and Python (as a plus)
• Experience with third-party APIs, web services, and middleware
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML)
• Strong SQL and database skills
• Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts
• Ability to work closely with Product and UX teams
