Responsibilities For Senior Professional Engineer

  • Performs technical work on all but the most difficult assignments
  • Directs, trains, supervises, and motivates team members
  • Reviews field and laboratory activities
  • Provides field oversight on complex projects
  • Prepares reports and proposals for routine to average projects
  • Discusses technical matters with clients
  • Completes project assignments on time and within budget
  • Maintains technical knowledge through literature review and conferences
  • Conducts periodic job site safety observations
  • Participates in safety meetings and training

Requirements For Senior Professional Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (M.S. desired)
  • Registered Professional Engineer's license
  • Four or more years of progressively responsible experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Technical writing capabilities
  • Ability to perform routine assignments with minor supervision
  • Ability to complete projects within time and budget considerations
