As a Security Engineer at Underdog, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the company's cloud security infrastructure. Your responsibilities will span from managing cloud security monitoring tools to implementing security logging systems and conducting vulnerability assessments. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including AWS services, Kubernetes, and various security frameworks.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of cloud security experience, with deep knowledge of AWS services and container environments. You'll need strong programming skills and familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards. Experience with tools like Cloudflare, Lacework, and Infrastructure-as-Code would be particularly valuable.

Responsibilities For Security Engineer

  • Manage and optimize tooling for cloud security monitoring
  • Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions
  • Implement security logging and monitoring to detect and respond to threats
  • Conduct vulnerability management
  • Develop and maintain security automation scripts and services
  • Secure and optimize CDN configurations
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines

Requirements For Security Engineer

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container environments
