Responsibilities For Staff Engineer

  • Conduct, analyze, and interpret lab data and evaluate existing geotechnical conditions
  • Prepare geotechnical reports for bridges, roadways, buildings, and other structures
  • Provide geotechnical evaluations and recommendations for foundations and soil improvements
  • Inspect and approve construction of subsurface structures
  • Coordinate geotechnical subsurface explorations and investigations
  • Prepare cost proposals and design scope of work
  • Market geotechnical consulting services to clients
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software
  • Perform construction materials testing duties
  • Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, and designs

Requirements For Staff Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required
  • Engineer in training (E.I.T.) Certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
  • Must reside within commutable distance of company location
