Responsibilities For Staff Engineer

  • Conducting geotechnical site investigations including soil and rock sampling
  • Evaluating and analyzing geological and geotechnical conditions
  • Managing geotechnical aspects of projects, including budgeting and scheduling
  • Coordinating with clients, contractors and regulatory agencies
  • Preparing technical reports and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Coordinating with lab and field departments
  • Preparing cost estimates, proposals, and invoices

Requirements For Staff Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or a related field
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical, environmental or construction materials testing
  • EIT or GIT preferred
  • Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a background check screening
