As an Electronics Engineer in our RF team, you'll play a crucial role in enabling quantum technologies through the design, testing, and verification of integrated RF circuits and subsystems.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists. You'll be responsible for leading RF circuit testing, developing electronics solutions, and maintaining documentation for complex systems.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on experience in RF/MW electronics, demonstrating expertise in PCB design, analog circuits, and test system development. Your strong background in electronics engineering, coupled with excellent communication skills, will be essential in contributing to project planning and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities For Electronics Engineer - Design and Verification (RF)

  • Lead testing of integrated RF circuits and subsystems
  • Design, build and test electronics solutions using analog, digital circuit design, and RF
  • Write documentation for RF and microwave circuits and verification tests
  • Maintain multidisciplinary collaboration with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists
  • Build test systems for quantum computers
  • Maintain state-of-the-art RF and electronics solutions
  • Help in project planning, scheduling, and risk management
  • Develop understanding of firmware and software for quantum computer control

Requirements For Electronics Engineer - Design and Verification (RF)

Python
  • Minimum 5 years practical experience in electronics support for MW/RF (VHF – X-band) design
  • Experience developing and executing test plans on complex RF systems
  • Analog design experience
  • PCB design experience (VHF-X-band)
  • Experience with low-noise design approaches
  • Experience working with suppliers and contractors
  • Strong documentation discipline
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • 2.1 BEng/BSc degree in Electronics Engineering or related discipline
  • Understanding of signal integrity, high-speed digital and EMC
  • Experience with C and/or scripting languages (Python, Matlab)
  • Experience with Labview
