Unstatic is seeking a Backend Developer to join their team in Hanoi, Vietnam. This role offers an opportunity to work on globally-scaled products with over 1.5 million users worldwide. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in backend development, with strong expertise in NodeJS and TypeScript. They will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality backend systems, working with various databases, and contributing to large-scale applications.
The position requires proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases, experience with cloud infrastructure, and knowledge of distributed systems. The developer will work in an Agile environment, participating in all stages of product development from ideation to release. They will also have opportunities to mentor other team members and contribute to code reviews.

Responsibilities For Backend Developer
- Design and develop high-quality backend code systems
- Develop features and applications that can support large-scale mobile, desktop and web applications
- Keep up with the latest technology trends and share with team members
- Contribute to each stage of product development (ideation, implementation, release)
- Develop structured, tested, readable and maintainable code
- Work in an Agile team
- Support development and mentor other developers in the team when needed
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing
Requirements For Backend Developer
- 3-4 years of experience, proficient in backend technologies and programming languages (NodeJS, Typescript)
- Deep knowledge and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Firestore, Redis
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure like GCP, AWS, Cloudflare
- Knowledge of distributed systems and architectures like microservices, event-driven
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with continuous releases using Agile methodology
- Experience building scalable web services
- Experience in performance optimization, profiling and debugging applications
- Passion for technology in the field
