LLM Engineer

Upright, a rapidly growing impact SaaS company, is seeking an LLM Engineer to join their Data Team in Helsinki. This role is crucial in shaping the future of their cutting-edge impact data products, which are currently used by over 300 institutional investment organizations and corporations across Europe and North America.

The position combines software development and machine learning expertise, with a focus on sophisticated LLM workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines and algorithms that power Upright's impact data products. These products help quantify companies' net impact on people, planet, society, and knowledge creation using a database of 200M+ scientific articles and artificial intelligence.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of professional experience in data science and/or software development, with particular expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and React. They should be creative, analytical, and capable of implementing multiple solutions quickly while maintaining excellent judgment in approaching LLM-related challenges.
