As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll architect solutions, deploy new features, scale our systems to handle millions of customers and devices, build quality tools and frameworks, and ensure continuous uptime. You'll work with technologies like Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RDBMS, NoSQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience building high-volume, enterprise-ready platforms
- Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
- Expertise in RDBMS and NoSQL concepts
- Hands-on API design experience
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of event sourcing and CQRS
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work with scale
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Google Cloud services
- Knowledge of Kotlin, Scala, Python, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Domain-Driven Design and Event Storming techniques
- Familiarity with Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles
- Prior startup experience

Requirements For Senior Backend Engineer - Product (NYC)
- Experience building enterprise-ready platforms for high transactional volumes
- Strong knowledge of Java 8 (onwards), Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS and NoSQL concepts
- Hands-on API design experience
- Hands-on microservices and architecture experience using Spring boot, RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience on event sourcing and CQRS
- Self-starter with strong, quick problem-solving skills
- Experience with scale and high-traffic applications
- Experience with different nonfunctional conformance aspects like security, reliability, and high availability
