Responsibilities For Lead QA Engineer

  • Coordinate testing activities with Onshore counterparts, Testing Manager and Project Managers
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents
  • Develop test strategies and test plans
  • Prepare test scripts and review test results
  • Document and report status on manual and automated test cases
  • Plan, develop and collaborate on test automation tools
  • Lead automation feasibility and tool analysis

Requirements For Lead QA Engineer

  • 5+ years of automation experience in Agile projects
  • Experience with REST API automation testing
  • Experience in CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in documenting test cases and reporting defects
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with testing complex cloud-based applications in MS Azure
  • Knowledge of testing solutions like SpecFlow, Cucumber, Playwright
  • Understanding of database concepts and SQL scripts
  • Experience with Selenium and languages such as C#, Python, or Java
