Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend to join our team in Canada (Ontario or British Columbia). As a Frontend Engineer at Vanta, you'll own and drive high-impact, user-facing projects in a hypergrowth company that has found product-market fit. You'll work closely with Product and Design to surface complex relationships and security threats elegantly, leveraging your expertise in best-in-class web technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deeply understand customers and market to build solutions addressing key pain points
• Work with cross-functional partners to discover, build, and iterate on scalable products
• Design, develop, and own new product functionality using modern frameworks (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• Drive fundamental decisions for the future of our frontend web architecture
• Spread knowledge of best practices in modern frontend web development
• Help define Vanta's engineering culture as we grow

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a frontend engineer
• Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects
• Proven track record of building 0 to 1 products and features
• Previous startup experience or work in fast-paced environments
• Experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space
