Founding Senior Product Engineer (Frontend)

Vapi is building the future of voice AI infrastructure for developers, positioned at the forefront of the voice interface revolution as Apple Intelligence and Google Gemini prepare to bring advanced voice assistants to billions. Recently launched in March and having secured Series A funding, Vapi is a small team of 6 looking to scale their success. As the Founding Senior Product Engineer (Frontend), you'll take ownership of their entire frontend Dashboard platform while helping shape company culture.

The role combines technical excellence with strategic impact, requiring expertise in React and TypeScript. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing key features, improving codebase quality, and directly contributing to customer satisfaction. The position offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-funded startup in its growth phase, with clear 30/60/90-day objectives including shipping features independently and collaborating on growth experiments.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of engineering experience, with a proven track record in frontend development and feature design. You'll work directly with founders in San Francisco, helping to build the foundation of a company that's positioning itself at the intersection of voice AI and developer tools. The compensation package of $150K-$300K plus equity (0.10%-0.40%) reflects the senior nature of this founding role.
