As our Test Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our mission to deliver transformational quantum technologies. You'll work alongside physicists, electronics engineers, and firmware engineers in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Your responsibilities will span from setting up CI/CD pipelines to creating automation scripts for complex testing procedures.

Responsibilities For Test Automation Engineer

  • Support code development efforts and automated in-loop hardware testing
  • Work with cross-functional team to create next-generation quantum instruments
  • Set up CI/CD pipelines and test server racks for devices-under-test
  • Create and maintain automation scripts in Python for interfacing with DUTs and test equipment
  • Create and configure Docker images for development, testing and deployment
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers and assist with board testing and hardware bring up
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development process efficiency

Requirements For Test Automation Engineer

Linux
  • BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer Science with DevOps experience
  • Must be U.S. person (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, certain refugees/asylees)
  • Comfortable working in laboratory environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Docker and CI/CD with GitHub Actions
  • Experience working in Linux environments, Bash scripting, and Python scripting
  • Experience interfacing with test equipment remotely
  • Experience developing shared build and testing containers
