Description For Data Scientist

Vectra, a leader in AI-driven threat detection with 35 patents, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their innovative team. This role sits at the intersection of machine learning and cybersecurity, where you'll develop cutting-edge models to protect hybrid and multi-cloud enterprises.

As a Data Scientist at Vectra, you'll work with large datasets to create sophisticated machine learning models that distinguish between normal and malicious behavior. You'll collaborate closely with Security Researchers, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering teams to develop and implement detection algorithms that form the core of Vectra's security platform.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology in cybersecurity, applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex security challenges. You'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of detection algorithms, from prototyping to production deployment, and will have the opportunity to present your findings to business leaders.

The role comes with competitive compensation ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 USD, along with comprehensive benefits including equity options, health insurance, and mental health support.
