Responsibilities For Technical Customer Support Engineer

  • Working on a customer-facing support queue
  • Deep diagnosis of customer issues, including lab reproduction and source-code analysis
  • Quantifying customer impact and prioritising solutions
  • Engaging with customers and Sales organization
  • Engaging with Engineering teams for solutions
  • Identifying and documenting product improvements
  • Developing Support processes and documentation
  • Developing customer-facing content
  • Rotational on-call/out-of-hours support
  • Collaborate with colleagues on investigations

Requirements For Technical Customer Support Engineer

Python
Linux
  • Proven experience with Linux-based systems
  • Understanding of TCP/IP network protocols
  • Experience in technical support or escalation engineer role
  • Understanding of current security technologies and risks
  • Understanding of SQL and non-SQL databases
  • Experience working in global dispersed teams
  • Experience with virtual and cloud environments
  • Business-fluency in English
  • Scripting/programming experience in Python and bash
  • Understanding of enterprise and data-center networks
