Description For Second Line Support Engineer

Veeqo, an Amazon company, is seeking a Second Line Support Engineer to join their technical support team in Swansea. As a crucial member of the team, you'll serve as a technical expert responsible for diagnosing, investigating, and resolving escalated incident tickets to maintain high-quality customer service. Responsibilities For Second Line Support Engineer

  • Diagnose, investigate, and resolve escalated support tickets
  • Provide consistent and high-quality technical support
  • Implement workarounds where appropriate
  • Escalate complex issues or suspected system defects to the engineering team
  • Provide detailed information and steps to reproduce problems
  • Develop internal documentation to help the support team improve their technical knowledge

Requirements For Second Line Support Engineer

  • Experience in technical support or software development
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to quickly understand issues and leverage available tools
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby and/or PHP) (preferred)
  • Previous experience working in a Support Desk environment (preferred)
