Description For Autonomous Vehicle Service Engineer

Venti Technologies, a leader in safe-speed autonomous logistics systems, is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Service Engineer to join their Operations Team. This role involves responsibility for autonomous vehicle operations at customer sites, including Remote Vehicle Operations, Maintenance, and Systems testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Vehicle Maintenance and Testing:

    • Conduct diagnostics and maintenance on autonomous vehicles
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technologies
    • Execute testing procedures for autonomous vehicle systems
    • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues
  2. Operations Control:

    • Monitor and control real-time operations of autonomous vehicles
    • Ensure safe and efficient performance
    • Respond to system alerts and emergencies
  3. Shift Operations:

    • Work on a shift-based schedule for 24/7 coverage
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  4. Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
    • Implement and maintain best practices

Required Experience:

  • Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in vehicle/transport operations and testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with vehicle/transport technologies and systems
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical systems and electrical/electronic wiring
  • Hands-on experience with Linux OS environment
  • Knowledge and background in Robotics/Automation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to a shift-based and 24/7 working environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in Bash, Python, C++, and ROS
  • Possession of a Class 3 Driving license
